My Favorite Household Item: Clothespin

Everyone knows what a clothespin is.  I grew up with clothspin as a mean of exactly what it was invented for: to hold the wet cloths up on the cloth line for drying.
Obviously, there are more things you can use the clothespins for than just holding the wet cloths to dry.  I don't need to tell you, all it takes is to just Google the word "clothespin" and I am certain there will be tons of usages out there for you to try.
The use I discovered  this morning may not be new but it was new to me:  I have printed out a Buttermilk Pancake recipe and wanted to try it out right a way except I could not find a proper spot to place the recipe while I gather the ingredients and following the directions on how to make the pancakes.  That's when I glanced around my kitchen counter and lo and behold, there is the clothespin!  My problem solved.

Clipped right on the edge of  my dish cloth basket - at a perfect eye level, too!

By the way, the pancakes were delicious!  Thank you Rebecca. It is a keeper!

Thank you for your words of encouragement to me tonight. You will not know until eternity just how much my weary soul needed them! Glad you and your family enjoyed the pancakes.
