Last night

It seemed forever to wait for last night to come and now it's over 24 hours later. We had our 08-09 promotion night. It was yet another beautiful event to watch. We stayed for the whole thing. We haven't done it since 2006. I thought it would be hard for me to watch the parents graduated their children, but by the grace of God, I made it through without being too emotional. I was not able to be in the room for the whole ceremony as Peter was getting restless. I took him walking outside in the lobby area. We got home around 10:40pm and hit the sacks immediately (after all the night time routines).

We held our own promotion night feast this evening. Ice cream, cookies and an old movie. We started this new tradition in 2006 when we had come home earlier. The 08-09 school year is now officially over and we are ready for a summer break with my brothers and sister coming to visit from out of states and country. later this month we will head out to visit grandpa and grandma. Yay!


We are looking forward to graduate Christine in three years and yes, these next three years will just fly by us as it had flied by with Erik.
