Freecycle.com

The Lord provides all our needs. Some times our wants, too.

I am very careful with the Freecycle.com stuff as it can take over your home if you are not careful. Lately, there have been things I wish we could have but just couldn't bring myself to buy them. I decided to check on the link and lo and behold, it's almost like God knows what I wish to get for our home and for the kids and gave them to us through this group.
It's amazing! I am so glad to see so many people are heeding up the 3Rs (reduce, re-use and recycle).
Here are some of the items we got through the Freecycle.com :
An office chair.
Ten boxes of glass jars in varied sizes. I threw away the boxes and sterilized the jars before using.

26 cabinet hinge sets.
A grocery brown bag full of fresh new organic whole wheat pasta.

The latest one... A Little Tike Play Kitchen and a Black & Decker work bench!
(we have the pan and pot set for many years. I am not sure but I think I got them for Christine when she was a toddler)

Peter was delighted!
Moving on, I am searching (and waiting) to see if a dinning set will pop up from the Freecycle.com. :)

  1. What is the Freecycle.com? Do you go there to get free stuffs or buy them at a very low price. I got on this site, they have one in Clarksburg, probably 15 to 20 mins drive from our home. You can not see the list until you sign up.
